Guest Post: Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

My lovely friends are so supportive of this blog, testing out the recipes and sharing their own creations.  Today we have another guest post from Megan, which I taste-tested, and whoa, it's good.  Chocolate + peanut butter = true love.  Seriously.

Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

This is literally as amazing as it sounds.  Actually, more amazing.  And easy!  That's my key to cooking.

Ingredients:

Chocolate syrup
1 chocolate crumb pie crust
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 8 oz container of Cool Whip, thawed

Directions:

Cream together the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla until it looks soft and...creamy.  Fold in the Cool Whip until also creamy.  Pour into pie crust.  Drizzle chocolate syrup on top.  Freeze for 2-4 hours. Remove from freezer ~15 min. before serving.

SO easy.  And I know 2-4 hours seems like a long time to wait for peanut buttery-chocolate-y goodness but remember - you can lick the spatula!

Side note: being healthy?! PB is good for you!  PLUS, you can use fat free cream cheese, low fat peanut butter, and fat free Cool Whip and...wait for it...it basically tastes just as good! No downsides here. Enjoy!
